Parents, as you know, we must work together to make sure your child gets the most out of their education this year. I only have a limited amount of time with them each day and we must cover alot ofinformation. Here are some helpful tips and important information that you should know.
Work with your child at home to practice what we went over that day.
Homework will be sent home every night and also posted on here.
Each student is allowed 8 absences per year.
Doctor excused absences will not count against your child.
Three tardies will equal one absence.
Lastly, we will be having regular birthday celebrations each month to recognize the student's birthdays in the classroom. Also, we will have parties on holidays throughout the year. I will be teaching lessonplans that teach the children the importance of each holdiday and event. However, I will need yourhelp to make this possible. I will post when an upcoming celebration is nearing and I ask that you fillout which item you can send your child to school with. Materials are cheap and range from cups,plates, food, or decorations. Anything will be appreciated and this will give me a better idea as to what I will need to bring from home.
